How can my Daddy comfort me when I’m little and sad?

So both me and my daddy havez depression and anxiety and he doesn't really know how to comfort me when I'm little and sad anyone got any tips?

also me and him are both switches so it would be very helpful for either gender neutral tips or for mommy and daddy doms

Taking care of you.
Letting you cry on his shoulder/lap etc
Letting you know he wuvs you
