Well, I open google, and I search for generic terms like "cute" or "heart" to get my images. Sometimes I have a specific image in mind, so I search for that. Then, I start slapping everything together under different filters on Gimp (I'm too poor for photoshop) and eventually I get to a point where I say "no more background. Time for cute pictures!"
So then I google the pictures I want (I used the words "cute heart" for the foreground) and usually add "render" or "transparent" to it, ensuring that I can be lazy and not cut out the image myself. I slap them on, add some pretty words in a cute font (if I desire), and bim-bam-boom DONE!

hahaha thats really complicated, but i will try it out soon! thank you for explaining it so well ) now i can try and make my own cute backgrounds!
