I know I want a gf who will be my mommy. Of course, there is a definite possibility that I'll end up meeting someone I like, but she's never heard of any of this. Now, social cues/unwritten rules have never been my strong suit. When would be an appropriate time to discuss this, and what would be a good way to approach it?

Personally I wouldn’t wait too long, bring it up right away that way you know if she’s the one right away, if you don’t bring it up you’ll never know and it’s better to find out sooner than later if she’s the right person for you and if she is she’ll except you for who you are
