Being a little I don't think is a very narrowly defined term, it has a broad range, the main unifying definition is just wanting to be treated as if you were little (and/or younger) and how you define that is going to be very personal. For some people they have both little and caregiver tendencies, and it's okay to not fit into one role 100% of the time, you can be many roles at many different times depending on your mood.
