Hihi again I have super simple question for everyone who might see this, but one I’ve been wanting to sort out, because there are different ways/terms/words that can be used. Do you, my fellow Littles , ever use an honorific title for your Daddy/Mommy/Caregiver? Do you, Caregivers , use any honorifics for your Littles? If so, what do you use, and why do you use that term? Such Daddy by his first name and add in -san, or -chan, or even -sama. I don’t personally know many other Littles (my usual people’s are into your traditional Master/Slave, Dom/Sub relationships) but I would like to know anyone’s take on this :3 and if there is a different title you use specific for your Caregiver/Little, what is it? I hope this has made sense D: I feel kind of rambly but I think I got the stuff across...

Sometimes I call my Daddy Oppa. It's Korean, not Japanese. But sometimes I do. I can definitely see calling them -san. And if they're okay with it, it's a nice way to personalize it.

This is interesting to us for the fact that honorifics seem to exist even in babytalk!

From the Japanese Honorifics article on Wikipedia:

Tan (たん) is an even more cute or affectionate variant of "chan". It evokes a small child's mispronunciation of that form of address, or baby talk – similar to how, for example, a speaker of English might use "widdle" instead of "little" when speaking to a baby.

Bō (坊【ぼう】) is another diminutive that expresses endearment. Like "chan", it is used for babies or young children, but is exclusively used for boys instead of girls.

We can’t see ourselves ever using these for any of our communication, but it is nice to know that there can be cutesie honorifics in different languages! We regress too young to barely speak more than simple babbles and first word, being “Mama”.
