Today I made a chocolate banana cake with blackberries from my garden to help cheer me up. It turned out really yummy!

That sounds like an interesting cake! And it looks delicious

@DaddyDom242 Thank you! I think chocolate and berries go so well together! And the banana added to the sweetness and texture!

I’ve never tried such a combination; but it looks absolutely delicious very jealous love banana cake, never tried it with chocolate and berries!

@DaddyAlex242 I bake fairly often nowadays, though I'm kinda new to it! I mainly bake this vegan chocolate cake recipe but try different variations on it. Here's the recipe if you or anyone is interested:

Even if you're not vegan I think it's a good recipe if you want a chocolate cake and don't have a lot of ingredients!

I like to bake sometimes so it’s good to have new recipes and ideas

@DaddyAlex242 Haha well like I said I like to try variations on this cake so the banana berry one I sorta made up! Though, the trick with the banana is I mashed it really well and added just a bit of water and used that as the liquid component of the cake! But the original recipe is super easy and if you make it I hope you like it!
